If your TikTok feed has been looking a little… green lately, you’re not imagining things. The UK has officially gone pickle-mad, and now KFC is jumping on the bandwagon in the most chaotic way possible.

From 23rd March, the fried chicken chain is rolling out a full-on pickle takeover across UK restaurants nationwide, going big on tang, crunch and full briny energy for a limited four-week run.

This isn’t about a token gherkin on the side either, this is pickles stepping firmly into their main-character era.

At the centre of it all is the Pickle Burger (£6.99), which honestly sounds like it was designed to test just how far pickle obsession can go. It stacks KFC’s Original Recipe chicken fillet with a punchy pickle seasoning, tangy sliced gherkins, creamy pickle ranch sauce and crispy fried pickle chips inside a glazed sesame bun.

For those wanting the full fast-food treatment, the Pickle Burger Meal (£8.99) pairs the burger with fries and a drink, while the Pickle Burger Box Meal (£10.99) levels things up further with extra sides for a more substantial feast.

And because one pickle-packed item clearly wasn’t enough, the menu keeps going.

The Pickle Loaded Fries (£3.99) take a familiar favourite and dial it up with a sharp, tangy twist, layering in pickle flavour for an extra hit of brine, while Frickles (£2.49), aka deep-fried pickles, deliver golden, crunchy, dunkable bites that feel tailor-made for sharing alongside your chicken.

Then there’s the one that’s already dividing opinion: the Pickle Pepsi Max (£2.39), which comes served with a side of pickle juice so you can mix your drink to your own taste, leaning as lightly, or as heavily, into the trend as you dare.

If you’re fully committed, the Picklemania Meal (£12.99) bundles together all four pickle items into one all-in spread, bringing the burger, fries, frickles and drink into a single, gloriously chaotic lineup that feels less like a meal and more like a dare.

Speaking about the launch, KFC UK & Ireland Brand Manager James Channon said the aim was simple: give pickles the spotlight they deserve. After years of playing a supporting role, this is their time to shine. Yes, even if that means ending up in a fizzy drink.

The full pickle menu will be available from 23rd March to 19th April at participating KFC locations and via delivery, while stocks last.

So if you’re even slightly pickle-curious, now’s your chance. Get 'em while you can!
