6 large croissants
12 sliced cooked bacon
9 sausages, sliced in half
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup cream
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
- Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C). Slice croissants in half and place two slices of bacon and three sausage halves in the middle. Top and arrange in a greased casserole dish.
- In bowl whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt and pepper. Pour over croissants. Lay a piece of parchment over top and gently press. Add a heavy casserole dish on top to weigh down. Let sit for 20-30 minutes in the fridge.
- Take off weight and cover with foil. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and icing sugar.
