Breakfast Croissant Bake

What you need


6 large croissants
12 sliced cooked bacon
9 sausages, sliced in half
10 eggs
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup cream
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Maple syrup,
Icing sugar


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C). Slice croissants in half and place two slices of bacon and three sausage halves in the middle. Top and arrange in a greased casserole dish.
  2. In bowl whisk together eggs, milk, cream, salt and pepper. Pour over croissants. Lay a piece of parchment over top and gently press. Add a heavy casserole dish on top to weigh down.  Let sit for 20-30 minutes in the fridge.
  3. Take off weight and cover with foil. Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with maple syrup and icing sugar.
