Carne Asada Fries

  1. Preheat the oven to 200c.
  2. Slice the potatoes into wedges. Toss in oil, cumin, paprika, sea salt and garlic powder. Pile onto a baking tray, spread out and bake for 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Heat a griddle pan to high then cook the steaks for about 2 minutes on each side for a medium cooked steak. Rest then slice up.
  4. When your wedges are ready, pile onto a serving plate. Top with the steak slices and a sprinkle of salt, then add your soured cream, guacamole, diced tomato, dusting of paprika, feta and coriander.


  • 5 large potatoes
  • 3tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp ground cumin
  • 1tbsp ground paprika

  • 2 oiled and seasoned steaks
  • 200g guacamole
  • 200ml soured cream
  • paprika for dusting
  • 1/2 bunch chopped coriander
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 100g crumbled feta
