Cheesy Hot Dog Sliders

  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 onions, sliced and gently cooked
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 2 cups grated emmental, cheddar and red leicester
  • Mustard
  • Tomato ketchup


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F
  2. Split the buns down the middle and brush with butter on the top and bottom of the bun.
  3. Lay the bottom half of the bun on a flat lined baking tray and top with cooked onions, cooked hot dogs and grated cheeses.
  4. Lay another piece of paper over the top and flatten with a heavy tray of similar size.
  5. Bake for 15/20 mins until the cheese has melted.
