5 sachets Maple & Pecan Oats
300ml apple juice
1/4 tsp salt
3 small apples
2 tbsp water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
50g dried cranberries
1 banana, sliced
Pop your oats, apple juice, 600ml water and salt in your slow cooker, place the lid on and cook overnight (about 8 hours) on the lowest setting.
The next morning, core and peel your apples. Place in a small saucepan with 2 tbsp water and the cinnamon and bring up to a simmer. Pop a lid on and cook for 10 minutes on low.
Remove from the heat. To serve, transfer the porridge to a serving dish and spoon on the apple compote. Stir through loosely.
Divide into bowls and top with cranberries and banana. Merry cHristmas!
