Crock Pot Mulled Wine

  • 3 bottles fruity red wine (Chianti, Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal)
  • 400ml cloudy apple juice
  • 4 clementines, sliced
  • 1 orange, zest and juice
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 star anise
  • 8 cloves
  • 3tbsp honey
  • grated nutmeg, to serve


  1. Pout the wine and apple juice into the crock pot. Add the clementines, orange, apple, cinnamon, star anise, cloves and honey.
  2. Put the lid on and set for 1 hour on high.
  3. Once your mulled wine is ready, turn to the warm option then serve up with a grating of nutmeg.
