What you need


Ham & Cheese Tortilla Cake

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3/4 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 6 tortillas
  • 16 slices ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 slices mozzarella

Hazelnut Spread Tortilla Cake

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 1/2 tbsp golden caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 300g hazelnut spread
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup

Ham & Cheese Tortilla Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/360°F.
  2. Whisk the eggs with cream, parmesan, pepper, nutmeg.
  3. Grease a skillet and lay the first tortilla down. Top with three slices of ham and another three of cheese, then pour over a little of the egg mixture. Repeat to the top.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through.

  2. Whisk the eggs with the cream, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla essence.
  3. Grease the skillet and lay the first tortilla down, then spread with the hazelnut chocolate and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through, then finish with the butter and maple syrup.
