I’m the kind of person that would happily eat an entire bowl of guacamole for dinner without even breaking a sweat. And I’m not talking about the sad little tubs of guac you buy in the supermarket that look they’re made from the sad tears of an unfulfilled avocado. Which they are. Just sayin’.
I’m talking about the magical combination of fresh avocado, tomato, cilantro, lime, red onion and salt that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. If you’ve never made your own before, all you need to do is lightly blend all the ingredients I’ve just listed together and you’ve got yourself a party in your mouth.
Thankfully for those of you who are too lazy to make your own, a restaurant has just opened that serves almost nothing but guacamole and chips. Visitors at Guac NYC are presented with ten tempting flavours that range from the classic to some truly unique combos.
Flavours include chorizo, olives, mango, and even bacon. Yes, you heard that right. Bacon guacamole is a thing. The restaurant also serves tacos and burritos, but I don’t even care. THEY SERVE BACON GUACAMOLE, PEOPLE.
If you and your tastebuds are ready to have all your dreams come true, all you need to do is head over to New York City’s East Village as soon as possible. Now, please excuse me while I go and devour my own body weight in avocados.
