Knorr On-The-Go Ramen Lunch Jars

Ingredients

For all the pots:

  • 1/2 seasoned egg
  • Fresh Ramen noodles
  • Spring onion, finely diced and kept in ice water for a 1/2 hour

Spicy Sesame Chicken:

  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 red chilli, sliced
  • 1 small carrot, cut julienne
  • 1/2 chicken stock pot
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 clove garlic, crushed to a paste
  • leftover roast chicken

Hoisin Lamb:

  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • leftover roast lamb
  • 1/2 tsp 5spice powder
  • 1/2 lamb stock pot
  • spinach, a small handful

Coconut Beef:

  • Leftover roast beef
  • 1/2 beef stock pot
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp coconut cream
  • 1 tsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • baby bok choi, sliced

Sriracha Roast veg:

  • Leftover roast veg (preferably sweet potato, tomato, carrots etc)
  • 1/2 veg stock pot
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • dried shitake mushroom, a few bits

 

Directions

  1. Add all of the relevant ingredients to individual 750ml mason jars (with tight fitting lids). Add egg, noodle and spring onion. Put the lid on (and store in the fridge if not to be eaten same day) and take off to work!
  2. Add hot water, leave to steep (and cool) for two minutes, stir well and dig in!
  3. Enjoy!
