500g Pizza dough
24 Cooked chicken nuggets
2 cups finely grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp pepper
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Roll out pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thick. Cut out 3 1/2 -inch circles.
- Place a piece of cheese in the center of each round, top with a chicken nugget to one side. Fold over one side and press to seal the edges. Let them sit for 30 minutes to rise again.
- Meanwhile, heat oil to 170ºF. When the oil is hot, fry until golden on both sides.
- In a large bowl, mix together parmesan, pepper, parsley and garlic powder. Toss each drained and slightly cooled calzone in the cheese mixture to coat.
- Serve with marinara.
