What You’ll Need:
- 4 White Potatoes
- 2 tbsps cornflour
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
How You Make It:
- Boil your potatoes. Drain, leave them to dry, then add half of the remaining ingredients to each potato in a bowl. Mix.
- Turn each potato mix onto a floured piece of greaseproof paper. Put another sheet of greaseproof on top, then roll or flatten until the mix is roughly 1cm thick.
- Remove the top piece of greaseproof, then cut out circles with a cutter. Cut out little eyes in each circle using a straw, and a little mouth using the back of a spoon.
- Pop your faces into the freezer for 20 minutes to firm up, then drop them into hot oil and fry for about 7 minutes, or until nicely coloured and crisp.
