Taco French Toast

What you need


6 thick slices white bread
2 cups leftover beef taco mince
12 mozzarella slices
3 cups crushed nacho chips
4 eggs
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/4 cup cream


  1. Lay two pieces of bread flat, place two slices of cheese on one side.  Cover with about 1/2” of taco mince.  Add two more slices of mozzarella cheese add top with the second piece of bread. Repeat with remaining bread, cheese, and filling.
  2. In a bowl whisk together eggs, cream, and taco seasoning until combined. Place sandwich in egg mixture and soak both sides. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  3. In a non-stick skillet heat oil over medium-low heat. Add one sandwich at a time and cook on both sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side. Be sure to control the heat so it doesn’t burn.
  4. Serve hot.
  5. Enjoy!
