INGREDIENTS

Cheeseburger Sausage Rolls:

  • 600g ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar
  • 1/2 cup parmesan
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup fried onions
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten with 2 tbsp water
  • 100g ground bacon
  • 1 sheet puff pastry

For the Spicy Devilled Egg Sandwich:

  • Butterhead lettuce, to serve
  • 8 large, hard-boiled eggs
  • Tomato, sliced
  • 10 rashers smoked, streaky bacon, cooked
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp chives
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 3 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp celery salt

Buffalo Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

  • 400g dried farfalle, cooked 
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup parmesan
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 head romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  •  2 spring onions
  • 2 cups grilled chicken, sliced 
  • 3 tbsp chives
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • salt, a pinch
  • 2 cups croutons, to serve

 

For the sausage rolls:

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C. For the sausage rolls, mix everything apart from your puff pastry, egg wash and sesame seeds in a bowl until smooth and together. Lay out your puff pastry and divide your meat into three even logs widthways. Cut your pastry across to form 3 even pieces of pastry. Brush egg wash on one side of your pastry and lift to excess pastry across over the meat to form a roll. Cut each of these long rolls into individual sausage rolls. Pop on a baking tray, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 25 minutes, or until rich golden brown.

For the pasta salad:

  1. Pour the hot sauce into a small pyrex jug and add the butter - microwave for 1 minute, then whisk to combine. Set aside to cool.
  2. To a large bowl, add the sour cream, mayonnaise, parmesan, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, chives, olive oil, salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Add the pasta, chicken, lettuce and pour over the buffalo sauce. Mix through. Serve with croutons.

For the BLT:

  1. Halve your eggs and separate out your yolks into a bowl. Roughly chop your egg whites. To your yolks, add mayonnaise, mustard, sriracha, chives, lemon juice, zest and celery salt. Whisk until smooth, then fold through the whites. Build your sandwich- Lay on lettuce and tomato then spoon on your devilled egg mix. Top with bacon and the other half of the bread. Get stuck in.
