Unless you really know what you’re doing, there’s a fine line between delicious drink mixing and ruining a perfectly enjoyable night out. In the hands of a skilled bartender, whisky and cola can become something magical. In the hands of a drunk idiot at 3 AM, the combination can quickly turn into a gag-inducing emetic.
Fortunately for anyone worried about getting a bit of sick on their favourite shirt, there is now a handy, risk-free solution to the cocktail conundrum. In news that will cheer anyone who’s ever had to grimace through a particularly dodgy dark and stormy, Jack Daniels has unveiled a new lineup of canned cocktails, every one pre-mixed to perfection.
Available in three fabulous flavours, including an intriguing-sounding seltzer blend, the cocktail cans look set to make a splash. In addition to the low calories whisky seltzer blend, bourbon fans an enjoy a 7.0% ABV whisky and cola combo, and a whisky, honey and lemonade blend. Summer drinking just got a whole lot boozier.

According to the Jack Daniels website, the motivation behind the new range seems to be to facilitate on-the-move whisky drinking. As the description states:
“With Jack Daniel's Can Cocktails, you can enjoy them on the go, straight from the fridge, or out of the cooler. It's real Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey in 3 light, refreshing mixes - conveniently canned. Ready to drink, and ready when you are.”
As per Delish, the new range will be available for around $13 for a pack of four, while individual cans will cost around $4. With the summer season just starting to hot up, we’d all be well-advised to keep an eye out for some welcome whisky refreshment.
