4 Amazingly Festive Flatbread, Focaccia and Wrap Snacks

Grilled cheese finger sandwiches filled with mushrooms, caramelised onions and brie. 

Serves 4, time 1 hour

  1. Heat the butter and on a very low heat caramelise the onion. When reduced in size and golden brown add the mushrooms and cook until everything smells delicious, roughly 10 minutes. Season to taste.
  2. Take one of the Deli Kitchen Sliced Focaccia slices and spread a layer of the caramelised onion/mushroom mix. Top with the sliced brie and second piece of focaccia to make a sandwich and cut into roughly four fingers. Repeat with the remaining 2 slices of focaccia.
  3. Fry the fingers on both sides in the butter and oil until crisp, roughly 2 minutes per side.
  4. Serve warm and dip in the cranberry sauce.

Smoked salmon tarts

Makes roughly 12 canapes, time 45 minutes

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Use a cookie cutter to cut mini circles from each Deli Kitchen Brioche Style wrap.
  3. Press each disk into a muffin tin and bake until crispy, roughly 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  4. Mix together the cream cheese, chopped dill and lemon juice and season taste.
  5. Spoon the mix into the tartlet cases and top with smoked salmon and dill sprigs.

Carnitas style turkey "tacos" served with festive salsa & avocado

Serves 4, time 1 hour

  1. Shred the turkey meat and stir in the orange juice and zest.
  2. Heat the oil and fry the garlic until fragrant, roughly 30 seconds, then add turkey mixture in a layer until it crisps up, roughly five minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together the tomatoes, onion, lime juice, red chilli and coriander then season to taste.
  4. Serve the turkey carnitas in the Deli Kitchen Plain Folded Flatbreads with the crispy turkey, salsa, avocado and grated red cheddar.

Shredded roast Christmas ham with a winter vegetable slaw and tzatziki

Serves 4, time 30 minutes

  1. Mix together the carrot, cabbage and fennel. Add the lemon juice and zest, hone and olive oil. Season to taste.
  2. Serve in the Deli Kitchen Greek Style Flatbreads with the shredded ham and tzatziki. Garnish with pomegranate seeds.
