Pizza Soup with Garlic Bread Twists

  1. In a large dutch oven or pot over medium heat, add oil 
  2. When hot, crumble in the sausage, add the onions, and chilli flakes
  3. Cook until the sausage is browned. Then add in the mushrooms and peppers. When softened and all the liquid is evaporated add the garlic and tomato paste.Cook until nice and fragrant before adding in the pepperoni, italian seasoning, tomatoes and vegetable stock. 
  4. Bring the pot to a simmer for about 20-30 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, divide the pizza dough into 6-8 portions. Roll each into a log. Place onto a baking sheet.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200ºc. Bake pizza dough for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 
  7. In the meantime, mix together melted butter, oil, garlic, salt, and Italian seasoning. Melt. 
  8. Remove the breadsticks from the oven and slice on a diagonal into a hassleback style. DIp and coat well with the garlic butter.  Place back in the oven for about 5-8 minutes until golden.
  9. Back to the soup. arrange sliced bread over the top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and mini pepperonis. 
  10. Grill until bubbling and the cheese is melted. 
  11. Serve soup with breadsticks, enjoy!
