Fried pickle and ranch Lay's crisps exist and we need them RN

We thought we were team salt and vinegar forever and always... but we might have just uncovered our favourite new crisp flavour.

Did you know that Lay's has a fried pickle and ranch flavoured crisps (or potato chips, if you're from the US)?

Yep, read it and weep, people! Fried pickle crisps exist, and we need to try them immediately.

The crisps promise the tang of pickle with a subtle creaminess from the ranch flavouring. Pretty delicious, eh?

They have launched in the US as part of their 'Flavor That Hits Home' limited edition range - each inspired by different areas of the States.

Alongside the Lay’s Fried Pickles with Ranch flavour, there's also Lay’s BLT Sandwich and Lay’s Crispy Taco flavours. We wanna try them all!

The beef and cheese taco flavour is meant to hark to the West Coast, and will primarily be available there, whilst the BLT is meant to meant to represent the northeast and Atlantic regions, so that's where it'll be sold.

As for the fried pickle crisps? Those are in honour of the south and midwest, who enjoy such a combo as a bar snack. That means it's the lucky sods over there who get their hands on this flavour!

All isn't lost though, because Lay's has correctly assumed that all the flavours will be in demand across the States, so they'll also be selling them on snacks.com.

If you're from the UK and you wanna get your hands on a packet, unfortunately we have bad news.

At present, they aren't launching in supermarkets over here in the UK (we're all about Walker's), but we'll be sure to update you if anything changes!

However, you can order the Canadian version (sans the ranch) if you really wanna get your dill pickle Lay's fix.

At a heftier price tag, the fancy crisp brand, Torres, also sells a pickle flavour. Shell out a fiver and you too can get on the pickle flavoured crisp hype, like our pals over in the US.

The fried pickle Lay's potato chips actually existed back in 2018, and again in 2021, but each drop was only for a limited run.

Here's hoping Walker's listens to all the fanfare and brings the limited flavour over here soon!
