How to roll burritos

In a new TikTok video, user @f0hnzi provides a detailed, top-down recording of how to properly prepare a delicious, leak-free burrito.

As he explains in the clip, “I was today years old when I learned how to properly fold a burrito. You fold the sides twice to pinch the ends, it’s a hexagon, not a rectangle.”

Essentially, the method involves piling all the components into the centre of a wrap. Then, you pinch the sides inwards as you roll, creating the hexagon shape.

This is then followed by another pinch towards the centre to keep everything in place, before everything is rolled up into a classic burrito shape. It is deceptively simple but incredibly effective.

‘Thank you sir, GOD BLESS’

Some burrito experts may think this method seems blindingly obvious. However, there’s no doubt that it’s blown plenty of people’s minds online.

The clip already has an astonishing 7.6 million views on TikTok. By contrast, f0hnzi’s next highest number of views is just over 2,000.

Thousands of grateful commenters have been thanking f0hnzi for the instructional clip. One grateful fan wrote, “thank you sir GOD BLESS.” Another added, “omg magic. sorcery, jaw-dropping. thank you.”

Many others have pointed out that this is the exact method that servers use at franchises like Taco Bell and Chipotle. A few more have also pointed out that a top tip is to warm the tortillas first to prevent them from splitting.

With the combined knowledge in the video and the comments underneath, it’s no wonder that this clip is being seen as a game-changer for wrap lovers everywhere.
