You know when you have a hankering for Italian, but end up torn between pizza and pasta? It’s like being asked to choose between two parents, or which puppy you’d prefer to leave at the rescue shelter. It’s a dilemma that can ruin dinner. If only there was a supermarket out there that had the presence of mind to say “this decision is too hard. What we need is everything all at once.” Thankfully, divided diners can now turn to Aldi.
The continental cash-saving specialists have decided that, since choosing between two inherently delicious carb-heavy Italian options is almost impossible, what the public really need is pizza and pasta on the same plate. Hence, they have decided to sell a $4 dollar pizza, topped with mac ‘n’ cheese. God is good.
Made by Italian-American comfort food manufacturers Mama Cozzi, the Thin Crust Macaroni & Cheese Pizza contains cheddar cheese sauce and macaroni, coupled with a combination of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, all spread over a thin pizza crust. Indulgent is an understatement.

In an interview with Insider, Aldi confirmed that the pizza is not intended to be a permanent addition to the retailer’s lineup. As a spokesperson told the publisher:
“This is an ALDI Find and will only be available for a limited time. This is a way to surprise shoppers with trendy new products and also an opportunity to test out new products that could become part of everyday selection.”
If, for some inexplicable reason, the prospect of mac ‘n’ cheese pizza doesn’t float your boat, there are a few other exciting options in the Aldi Finds range. Upcoming releases include Mama Cozzi Garlic Bread Sticks and Pizza Kitchen Pub Pretzels, according to Aldi’s website, meaning that there a plenty of alternatives on offer.
