The days are getting longer, the skies are slowly-but-surely clearing, and the temperature is rising incrementally. All these things can only mean one thing: spring has come, and summer is on the way.
In the wintertime, our drinking preferences adapt to fit the climate, and we favor hot toddies, warm coffee, mulled wine, and spiced cider. But in the summer and spring, you might fancy something colder, fresher, and altogether sweeter instead.
Take a look at this video all about the couple who faked an engagement for free booze:
If that’s how you like to drink in the warmer months, then you might be excited to know that Gordon’s Gin Company is releasing a new peach-flavored brand of gin in the near future that will be the perfect tipple this summer.
Per a recent article by Good Housekeeping, the new flavor was announced along with Gordon’s brand-new Sicilian Lemon Gin. The soft and mellow concoction boasts fruity and aromatic notes that will dance on your tastebuds, whether you’re lounging by the poolside, partying on the beach, or enjoying the balmy evening heat on a balcony with a view.
Lauren Bungay, a spirits expert, told British tabloid newspaper The Metro that this beverage is absolutely ideal for summer 2020. Bungay stated: “The gin trend doesn’t seem to be slowing down, and with the launch of new and innovative flavors, there’s even more reasons for gin lovers to stick to their drink of choice. [sic]”
So there you have it: drink peach gin sounds like the best way to be a trendsetter. But this isn’t the first time we’ve written about a cool new drinks concept. Recently Smirnoff has positioned itself as something of a rival to Gordon’s with its new flavors of fruit-flavored vodka, including orange, grapefruit and bitters, and raspberry, rhubarb and vanilla.
