Nando's drops brand new 'secret' sauce on its menu

Nando's has just announced the arrival of a 'secret' sauce on its main menu.

Yep, an elite few of you might have heard of the PERi-Tamer sauce, which is resident to the kids menu, and made up of PERi-PERi, honey, soy sauce, and garlic.

It's an little known secret that anybody can order this sauce with their meal if they ask, but some die hard Nando's fans go a step further and mixed it with 'hot' PERi-PERi sauce, to create a new, more grown up version.

And guess what? Nando's has taken notice, putting it on menus under the name, PERi-Flamer.

The PERi-Flamer sauce is sweet, smoky and spicy, and comes on their Extra Saucy Wings.

The flame-grilled chicken wings come in portions of three, five or ten, covered in the new sauce and a creamy yoghurt dressing.

The wings are saucier than normal, so make sure you stock up on napkins!

It comes not long after the news of the chain's Creamy Salad Dressing, after huge demand, in February.

The dressing departed the Sauce Station in 2021, and it's safe to say its return was celebrated up and down the country.

The Extra Saucy Wings landed in branches yesterday (11th May) and will be available to Eat-in, Collect or on Nando’s Delivery.
