Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Any baker knows that putting something in the oven is only half the fun. Whether you’ve managed to avoid the dreaded soggy bottom or not becomes almost irrelevant if you’ve got a cupboard full of glittery sugar balls and icing – it’s all about making your horrible-tasting cake look as pretty as possible. With this in mind, the latest release from Nestle Toll House should have enthusiastic decorators everywhere licking their lips.

Looking to take chocolate chips’ crown as the accessory that everyone agrees makes everything better, the famous baking brand has decided to up the ante with their new Unicorn Pink & Blue Swirled Vanilla Morsels. Made with the real vanilla, the chips promise a serious visual impact as well as flavour, making them an essential ingredient for any ostentatious chef.

According to a report in Popsugar, “the colourful bags of morsels come in 10-ounce bags for $3” making them an affordable option for anyone looking to add a splash of colour to their cooking. Popsugar also state that the packaging “has a recipe for Nestlé’s Unicorn Magic Sugar Cookies,” ideal for baking beginners.

Though the new chips are currently not available universally, Popsugar report that they are stocked at major chains like Walmart, Kroger, Publix and Target, meaning that you shouldn’t have to search too hard in order to get your hands on some. Nestle have also confirmed, according to the fine print on the packaging, that no unicorns were harmed in the making of the morsels – news that will no doubt enthuse baking animal rights activists. Now there’s no excuse not to stock up.
