Easter isn't Easter without Creme Eggs, is it? Their gooey fondant centres and thick chocolate shells are a vital part of the season.

By why stop at eating them? Aldi has just released a creme liqueur flavoured like the Cadbury snack, and we're rushing to pick up a bottle as soon as possible.

The bottle, from their own brand, Ballycastle, is dubbed the Ballycastle Chocolate Crème, and is brand new for this Easter season.

Check it out below:

It costs an incredibly reasonable £7.69 for 70cl, and is available in Aldi stores and online from the 14th March (get ready to raid your local store!)

Aldi promises this is a "smooth and creamy blend" with hints of chocolate and vanilla. What more could you want, ey?

It's best served neat, but also works wonderfully with ice or in a choccy Easter cocktail.

The new drink joins Aldi’s Ballycastle Blonde Chocolate (£6.49) on shelves, which achieved a gold award at last year’s Spirit Business Liqueur Masters, and which many have compared to a Caramilk bar.

There's also a bottle of Ballycastle White Chocolate (£6.49), which scooped up a notable SILVER award of its own.

Plus, you can also pick up a bottle of Ballycastle Raspberry Ripple (£7.69) or your standard Ballycastle Country Cream (£5.79), which is pretty lovely on its own, if you ask us.

The Aldi tipple will only be around for a limited time over the Easter season, so you'd better snap it up now if you wanna give it a try.

As news of its arrival dropped on social media, it's fair to say there was some excitement about the seasonal addition.

"Omg I need this," said one person under a post from food blog, New Foods UK.

Meanwhile, another wrote: "No fricking way! When did this happen?"

"Ohh this is a MUST have," a third chimed in.

As a fourth penned: "The way I GASPED."

Safe to say this one will sell out quick!
