Babybel cheese is one of life's most elite snacks.

'What could be better than a little ball of edam?' I hear you ask. Well, how about a giant Babybel cheese?

Yup, Maxi Babybel is now a thing, and you can buy it in Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Iceland and Ocado.

The snack is limited edition and only available for the Christmas holidays, so you've gotta be quick if you wanna get your hands on it.

The bigger Babybel will set you back £3.50 – not bad for that much cheese, if you ask us.

When the Babybels were first spotted on food blog, @NewFoodsUK, it's safe to say that people were excited about them.

"This was made for you!," said one person, tagging a mate in the comments.

Whilst another wrote: "Omg I need this."

"You would dust that no problem," someone else told a pal.

"My Xmas cheese sorted," said a fourth.

The giant Babybel was previously available abroad, but this is the first time it is landing in UK supermarkets.

Oliver Richmond, Senior Brand Manager at Babybel, said: "We’re delighted to unveil Maxi Babybel following huge consumer demand.

"Babybel has a strong fanbase, with consumers loving it for its iconic status, taste and texture.

"We always listen to what our brand fans have to say and they have been crying out for Maxi Babybel.

"Available for a short time only, the limited-edition nature of the supersized Babybel is sure to generate widespread brand buzz and sales success, as shoppers seek out shareable cheese options."

Run, don't walk for this one, folks.
