Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

There are no shortage of sparkly drinks on shelves this year. We just told you about M&S gold leaf wine, for one.

But if you’re more partial to a beer then fear not, there’s something for you, too. Introducing Beavertown Brewery’s glitter IPA….

A Christmas special, the drink, named Frozen Neck, is about as festive as it comes. In fact, the only thing more seasonal would be swigging it down in a Santa hat.

It’s made with edible glitter to give it a shimmery glow, and create a “snowball effect in your glass”.

It’s not all aesthetic, either. A seasonal twist on a Neck Oil, Beavertown promises it tastes “zingy” and “hazy”, with icy hops frozen straight after being picked to help promote its extra fresh flavour punch.

You can also expect a bold grapefruit flavour throughout, as well as a fruity mango hop.

The glittery beer is priced at £2.30, and has an ABV of 4.3 percent.

The brewery is the first big beer brand in the UK to create cans of glitter beer, so they’re sure to go down a treat.

They’re available to buy via the Beavertown website, and they’re just a festive offer, so if you want to stock up, we’d advise being quick.

Tom Rainsford, Marketing Director at Beavertown Brewery said, “We’ve been busy experimenting to create a truly unique out-of-this-world beer for Christmas. Frozen Neck IPA tastes as incredible as it looks, and is the perfect beer for Christmas.

For maximum sparkle (and who doesn’t want that), be sure to give your can a swirl before you pour. Then sit back, relax and enjoy the glitter”.

Frozen Neck dropped online on the 7th November, alongside another Christmas special, the Ginger Ray APA.

This is “a seasonally bitter, malty ale with a hint of ginger and nutmeg spice”. The tastes of Christmas, all in one can.
