Burger King releases cotton candy frozen drink and it looks amazing

Burger King's new frozen drink is setting everyone's tongues wagging (and probably turning them blue as well).

The fast food giant's brand new "deliciously sweet" tipple is called the Frozen Cotton Candy, and is inspired by the flavours of blue raspberry and – you guessed it – cotton candy.

It's giving trip to the cinema nostalgia, and we're into it!

The fun doesn't stop there, as diners will be able to add a brand new cold foam cloud topping to their frozen drink, if they fancy.

This topping is available for an extra charge, and can also be added to other BK drinks – what fun!

Launching on Thursday, April 11th, the Frozen Cotton Candy drinks are a nationwide release in America.

We don't yet have deets about pricing, but we'll let you know once we know more.

The frozen drink and the cold foam are sadly only available in the States, so UK shoppers won't be able to get their hands on 'em just yet.

But here's hoping if they're a success overseas, Burger King bosses over here might take notice!

In the US, Burger King have been experimenting with frozen drinks for some time now, also launching a Frozen Fanta Kickin' Mango tipple previously.

"After bringing the heat last summer with the successful launch of our Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango, we wanted to cool things off a bit this season with our new, refreshingly sweet Frozen Cotton Candy beverage offerings," said Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King North America.

"And our innovative cold foam topper is just another way we’re bringing ‘Have It Your Way’ to life, giving guests the option to add another layer of flavor to their frozen beverages."

If you are based in the US, you'd better act quick to get your hands on the frozen beverage as it will only be available for a limited time. Go, go, go!
