Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Listen up, guys. We’ve found our calling.

A US candy company has announced that it is looking to pay someone six figures to test their products for a living/

Yup, Candy Funhouse has advertised a brand spanking new Chief Candy Officer position, and it sounds like the career of our dreams.

The chosen employee will be paid $100,000 (£83,644) annually in exchange for picking the best sweets the company have in their roster, and giving them their expert thumbs up.

The company is open to hiring someone of any age, which is why they’re even letting those who are five years old and up apply.

They’re based in Ontario, Canada, so you have to be from North America to apply (which sadly rules us out of the running).

However, other than that all candy enthusiasts are welcome, you can work another job alongside the gig, and despite needing to be in the same area as the company, they’ll be able to work from home so long as you live in either Toronto, Canada (Canadian Residents) or Newark, New Jersey (American Residents).

It’s a serious gig, too. The person appointed will be in charge of helping the company pick their new releases and strategising what will go down well with customers.

“Here at Candy Funhouse we’re all about FUN, and who better to set our FUNhouse strategy than someone that is a real candy fanatic!,” the candy store’s CEO, Jamal Hejazi, said in a statement.

“Whoever lands this position better be ready for the ride of their lives, and to have chocolate flowing through their veins.”

The main requirements they’re looking for are “golden tastebuds” who are “bold” and “creative”, but crucially, also able to “give their honest opinion” on all the products on offer.

Candy Funhouse is Canada’s largest online candy store, so your role would be pretty important if you did manage to land it. Their website says they’re all about “providing a memorable candy experience” for all their customers.

We don’t know about you, but this sounds like a pretty sweet gig… if you’ll pardon the pun.

Candy enthusiasts, step on it. You can apply here via the Candy Funhouse careers page.
