Greggs fans, take note!

The high-street bakery is launching a Katsu Chicken Bake, and we have a hunch it's gonna be a favourite!

Made with tender chicken breast, a Japanese-inspired Katsu curry sauce and a spiced crumb, the slice is a nod to the Scottish curry pie, and lands in stores today (25th July).

Now that's a fusion innovation we can very much back.

Greggs call the filling of the new product 'liquid gold', and we can certainly see why!

Prices start at £2, depending where you live, and you can also get the Chicken Katsu Bake as part of a savoury bake deal from £2.85.

The new Greggs launches don't stop there, as the chain is also launching pizza sharing boxes, where you can get four slices in one.

The boxes come with a whole bunch of toppings, from Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken and fiery Pepperoni Hot Shot.

Plus, you can go for a classic Margherita if you'd rather.

Both new products are available nationwide, and also via the Greggs App with Click+ Collect.

The app also offers rewards. For example, every nine purchases users will get a food or drink item completely free.

We reckon we'd be racking that up quite quickly!

Speaking of Greggs, did you see that they started giving out their sausage rolls in a rather unusual manner the other day?

Yup, they only went and teamed up with Monzo to launch a sausage roll vending machine – now that's the kinda withdrawal we can get behind.

Launching in Newcastle, aka the home of Greggs, the vending machine was only open for a day, and was literally dispensing sausage rolls to excited passers by.

If free sausage rolls weren't enough of an incentive, they also gave some lucky recipients the chance to bag loads of free sausage rolls, (or whatever pastry you want, really)?

Every 100th customer who uses the ATM also got a £50 Greggs High Roller gift card, so they could fill their boots.

What fun!
