Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

We thought we couldn’t love Greggs any more, but they’ve now announced they’re launching boozy brunches.

Yep, the high street bakery might be known as someone you stop for a quick sausage roll, but to celebrate the launch of its new Greggs menu – stuffed with festive additions like the Festive Bake and the Vegan Festive Bake – they’re mixing things up a bit.

What is the Greggs Festive Bake Brunch and how can I go?

Dubbed the Festive Bake Brunch, the limited events will give attendees 75 minutes to scoff as many pastries as they can from Greggs, including sausage rolls, Festive Bakes and sweet goodies.

Now, that’s a challenge we can very much get on board with.

The fun doesn’t stop there, though, as there will also be an array of Greggs themed tipples to get your hands on, and the best part is they’re unlimited, too.

The drinks are all a little quirky, with nods to the bakery’s much loved products. There’s a Sausage Roll Sour, Greggspresso Martini, Sugar Strand Daiquiri, Greggs No-Aperol Spritz and a Festive Fizz.

There will be non-alcoholic options, for those who don’t drink, too.

Plus, vegans can indulge as much as their pals, as there will be plenty of plant-based pastries to eat until your heart is content.

Instagram blogger Hunsnet will be bringing the party at the events, with a full DJ set, live performances and Christmas medleys also to be expected.

We have no doubt the event will book up incredibly quickly, especially given that tickets don’t cost a penny. Yep, you read that correctly…unlimited booze and free festive bakes aplenty.

Greggs, you’re too good to us.

There will be events taking place in London, Manchester and Newcastle, with the first taking place in the capital on Saturday, November 12th.

The Newcastle event will follow on November 19th, and the Manchester event will fall on November 26th.

You can book tickets via DesignMyNight, and whilst you’ll be asked to fork out £5 to reserve your spot, this will be refunded after attendance.

When can I buy the Greggs Festive Bake and Vegan Festive Bake?

Attending Greggs’ Festive Bake Brunch is obviously the dream, but if you aren’t lucky enough to grab a ticket then the good news is you can at least stock up on their Christmas offerings in store in the coming weeks.

From November 10th, you’ll be able to purchase a Festive Bake and a Vegan Festive Bake in your local Greggs, which means it’s basically Christmas, right?

The Festive Bake is made with chicken, sage, and onion stuffing and bacon, and has a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, meanwhile the vegan festive bake is filled with Quorn, sage and onion stuffing and a vegan bacon crumb, alongside a a cranberry and sage sauce. Yum.

If you’re super keen to try one then make sure to reserve yours in advance using the Greggs app, too. The last thing you want is that person in the queue in front of you stealing the last one!
