You’d be forgiven for assuming we were done going on about ice creams now that the sun has well and truly vanished.
But nope….we’re not. You see, it turns out wintry ice creams are now in vogue, and we couldn’t be happier about it.
The trend has been spearheaded by the folks over at Häagen-Dazs, who have brought out a dessert inspired range for the holidays.
The limited range will see people’s favourite after dinner treats turned into ice creams, and the flavours sound truly epic.
First up, you can order a brand new Red Velvet Cheesecake flavoured ice cream, and second, tuck into a Caramel, Lotus Biscoff Biscuit & Cream Speculoos Ice Cream.
Yup, Häagen-Dazs has collaborated with Lotus Biscoff… *faints*.
The Red Velvet pots come filled with cheesecake infused ice cream and when you scoop into them, you can expect swirls of red velvet cocoa sauce and crunchy red velvet cake crumble pieces.
And as for the Biscoff ice cream? Well, that comes mixed with caramelised Speculoos biscuits and a sweet, velvety caramel sauce.
If you want to get your hands on the flavours, you’d better be quick, as they’re only available seasonally until after the Christmas period.
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be stocking up for the rest of the year.
Both flavours of Häagen-Dazs’ Limited Edition Festive Dessert Collection can be bought in Co-op and Waitrose stores now, and you’ll be able to grab them for £4.80 a box.
The trend doesn’t stop at Häagen-Dazs either, as Ben and Jerry’s also just released a new ice cream flavour, despite the change of the season.
They’ve brought out a new flavour with ethical chocolate company, Tony Chocolonelys, and it sounds equally dreamy.
The tub, named Ben & Jerry’s and Tony Chocolonely’s Chocolatey Love A-Fair, comes packed with an indulgent chocolate ice cream with salted caramel swirls and chocolate and caramel chunks.
