KFC is releasing rum flavoured with its 11 herbs and spices

KFC has just released a new rum inspired by its 11 herbs and spices recipe, and its launching to mark National Rum Day.

Yup, here in the UK, the fast-food chain is collaborating with a brand called Dead Man’s Fingers to create a spiced rum like we’ve never seen before.

Available from today (August 16th) for a limited time, the tipple is best paired with a KFC bucket and promises the flavours you know and love with a boozy kick.

A KFC spokesperson said: “Although the Colonel’s recipe remains a secret, we can reveal it has the perfect balance of our herbs and spices including black and white pepper, together with the freshly fried goodness of our golden breading that makes our chicken taste so damn good.

The drink is also infused with the unmistakeable notes of Dead Man’s Fingers spiced rum, with “whispers of creamy caramel, vanilla, treacle toffee and nutmeg”.

KFC advise that its best enjoyed “with a splash of cola or in a cocktail.” Mmmm, fried chicken daiquiri?

You can order the rum from The Drop Store and Amazon for £25, while stocks last.

KFC and Dead Man’s Fingers are collaborating to open a Chicken and Rum Shack which sounds like literal heaven on earth.

They’re promising free chicken, music and even a mixologist who will be ready to serve up a whole loada Dead Man’s Fingers-approved cocktails.

Located on the seafront, there will be cocktails called Zinger Punch, The Colonel’s Colada and Fingers Lickin’ Good, all made with Dead Man’s Fingers Rum.  

The best part is, you don’t even need a ticket, all you have to do is head on down.

KFC flavoured rum may not have been on our 2023 bucket list, but we’re sure as hell gonna be trying it!
