Behold Kim Kardashian’s Beyond Meat advert, where she marvels at the taste of an unbitten burger

Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

ICYMI, Kim Kardashian is the new face of Beyond Meat. Yep, that means plant-based burgers are A-list approved, folks.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 41, was named the brand’s ‘chief taste consultant’ in a new campaign announced this week, which will see her sharing her very favourite vegan recipes using the products.

And to celebrate the high-profile signing, Beyond Meat released a sparkling new advert. The only catch? Fans are almost certain Kim doesn’t bite down on the product once.

Check out the evidence for yourself below:

“I believe so much in the mission of Beyond Meat that I’ve stepped in to help with my greatest asset – my taste,” says Kim in the short 30 second clip.

But the Disney Plus star ended up getting trolled on social media after it hit the web, with many suggesting that she looked like she was “faking” taking a bite of the meat substitute in question.

It’s not just Kim’s rather hyperbolic chewing and ‘yum’ face that led people to that conclusion – oh, no.

It’s also the fact that her burger half remains entirely in tact as the Skims founder reacts to the taste.

Once you see it, you can’t un-see it.

“She’s LOVING it… except she didn’t take a bite yet ,” joked one person rather swiftly in the comments.

Whilst another wrote: “Kim Kardashian fake-chewing a beyond meat burger that has no bite taken out of it is making me spiral”.

“At least bite the bitch,” commented a third, giving Kim some further grief.

Sorry Kim, but we’re gonna be watching this on loop.

Elsewhere in the advert, Kim can also be seen picking up a meatball with a fork, garnishing some tacos and picking up a sausage as if to eat it, but once again, we don’t see an actual mouthful being consumed.

There does appear to be a bite mark in one fake chicken nugget, so if nothing else, it may be possible she had a nibble on that.

As hilarious as the ad might be, we have to give it to Kim for promoting a sustainable, plant-based lifestyle – something we could all be considering a little more.

“It’s a simple change that makes a really big difference,” she said. “Now that I’m Beyond Meat’s Chief Taste Consultant, there’s never been a better time to go beyond.”

But just an FYI, Kim, as a taste consultant, you gotta actually eat the food…
