Krispy Kreme debuts Lotus Biscoff doughnut collection

Big news, Biscoff fans.

Krispy Kreme is bringing out a collection in collaboration with the one and only Lotus Biscoff – the caramelised speculoos biscuit that everybody is obsessed with.

Yup, the Biscoff Doughnut Collection will see the folks at Krispy Kreme bringing the taste of the coffee accompaniment to three unique doughnuts, and they all sound incredible.

The first is a Biscoff Iced Doughnut, and is essentially a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut that has been dunked in Biscoff Cookie Butter icing.​ Simple but effective, right?

Next up is the Biscoff Cookie Butter Cheesecake Doughnut​ – basically the same as above but topped with a cream cheese swirl, buttercream and Biscoff Crumble.​ Drool.

The third option might well be our favourite. It’s the Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme Filled  Doughnut.

If you order this, you can expect a shell doughnut filled with Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme  filling, dunked in Biscoff Cookie Butter icing and topped with a dark chocolate icing swirl and Biscoff Crumble.

We mean, look at it: 

Unfortunately for British fans of speculoos, this particular collab is only available in the US this time around.

It’s exciting news for those stateside, though, as it’s the first time Krispy Kreme and Biscoff have joined forces over there.

The doughnuts will be available from January 9th until January 29th, at participating Krispy Kreme stores.

“Our doughnuts made with Lotus Biscoff are popular around the world and it’s definitely time for our U.S. fans to get a taste,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme.

“Both doughnut and cookie lovers will be amazed by this delicious combination.”

If a Biscoff Krispy Kreme wasn’t enough, anyone who buys one from a participating store will also get a free Biscoff cookie packet. Result.

If you can’t make it to a Krispy Kreme shop, you can also find the doughnuts in 6-packs at several Walmart, Publix, Stater Brothers, Kroger, Food Lion and Wakefern stores. You can find all the stockists here.

The good news for us UK residents is that there is in fact a Lotus Biscoff doughnut which can be bought as part of a selection box over here, too.

Sure, we might not have all three Biscoff treats, but we’ll take it.
