If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that pasta is life. So, we’re sure you’re excited as us to learn that London is getting its first ever pasta festival next month.
Yup, it’s really taken this long.
But now, Emilia’s Crafted Pasta in Canary Wharf is coming through with the goods, throwing a full on soiree to celebrate all things pasta, with masterclasses, live music, and (obviously) lots of tasty food.

Staff from Emilia’s will be on hand to serve up a “pasta picnic” on the riverside terrace and surrounding parkland.
As you’d expect from a festival, there’s gonna be a musical headliner, too. Drumroll, please….They’re bringing out X Factor Italy finalist, Davide Shorty (ok, slightly random, but he’s Italian, so it feels apt, right?)

Fancy a tipple with your spaghetti or your fusilli? Well, there’s going to be plenty of wine, too. It wouldn’t be a tribute to Italy without, would it?
So, Emilia’s Crafted Pasta has teamed up with Boutinot Wines, and they’ll be helping visitors to pair their wines with various dishes.
Plus, they’re going to be sharing tips on how to reduce food waste when cooking pasta at home, too.
The best thing about the pasta festival is that it’s totally free to attend – although, if you do want to go to a masterclass you have to book your slot in advance, here.
Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is holding the festival from its Canary Wharf restaurant (12 George Street, Wood Wharf, E14 9QG) on August 21st, between 12pm and 8pm.
