Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

There is no shortage of Jubilee themed food products in the shops at the moment. In truth, the world is going rather mad.

Heinz Salad Cream has been renamed Salad Queen, and Morrisons even rebranded its Victoria Sponge the Elizabeth Sponge – but we think we’ve found the best new limited edition Jubilee products to hit shelves…

Marks & Spencer has revamped its beloved Colin the Caterpillar to honour seven decades of Queenie on the throne, turning him for a caterpillar to a corgi to mark the occasion.

Not only is Colin dressed as the Queen’s favourite dog, with a cute little brown face, he’s also got a cape adorned with the Union flag on his back.

You had us at a dog shaped cake, to be honest, M&S.

Possibly cuter still is the supermarket’s rebrand of Colin’s partner, Connie, who is inspired by Her Maj herself.

She comes in a little gold crown and a regal purple cape – a fitting tribute to The Queen if you ask us!

Available in stores from tomorrow (17th May), the cakes will cost £10, and will only be limited-edition, selling to mark the Jubilee whilst stock lasts.

Talking of the Platinum Jubilee, did you spot the Corgi cafe that’s opening up ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend, to celebrate her 70 years on the throne?

The event, taking place at The Refinery in Bankside, London on Sunday 29th May, is going to be packed full of fun things to do, and encourages pups to be off-lead for the occasion.

There’s set to be a ‘chill-zone’ for older dogs, professional photographers to snap pooches and their owners/ admirers and fun dog accessories to play with, from The Crafty Dog Co.

Also expect dog-friendly refreshments from The Doggy Bakery, including ‘lollipups’ and ‘dognuts’, which can be found at the custom Pupuccino Bar.

You can read more about that and how to get tickets here.
