Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

We know that Marmite can be divisive – the clue is in its catchphrase.

However, Marks and Spencer is choosing to play to the palates of those who love the spread by releasing a mini picnic version of its cream cheese infused with the stuff, sold alongside some crispy bread sticks.

The new product is perfect for summer snacking, adding an umami kick to the classic crudité.

As it was shared by food blog, Kev’s Snack Reviews, it’s safe to say that Marmite stayed true to its reputation.

“Yummmm yes please!,” said one person in the comments.

Whilst another wrote: “Now we are talking”.

“You would love this,” said a third.

“Hmmmm not sure about them,” said a fourth.

However, a fifth replied with a string of vomiting emojis.

We don’t yet have an official date from M&S about when these products are in store or how much they’ll be selling for, but we’ve reached out and we’ll update you as soon as we know more.

You can also order a big tub of the Marmite infused cream cheese from M&S right now, so you can supersize your serving, if you so desire.

M&S suggest slathering this spread on a bagel, mixing it into your pasta or even plopping it into a bowl of tomato soup.

Retailing for £3.70, you can order the tubs from Ocado and buy them in your local store, and they’ve been a much loved staple on shelves for the last three years.

It’s no wonder M&S decided to offer us a portable mini version of the much loved snack.

We have a feeling we’ll be consuming a lot of these cheesy marmite breadsticks this summer…
