Ever look back wistfully on the days where you’d go to Maccies and order a Happy Meal, gleefully digging inside to find out what toy you’d bagged?
Well, now this doesn’t just have to be a moment of nostalgia, as McDonald’s is bringing out Happy Meals for adults as part of a limited new promotion.
The adult Happy Meals are a collaboration with streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market, and customers will be able to opt for one whenever they order a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNugget box.
Like if you’re ordering a meal, the box comes with fries and a drink, and most importantly, it also comes with a toy.
The toys are all a take on Maccies characters from over the years, including Grimace, Birdie and the Hamburglar, as well as a new character named Cactus Buddy.
You’ll pick up one toy per order, so you’ll have to make a few trips to McDonald’s to bag all four of them – but that’s all part of the fun, isn’t it?
Unfortunately for us Brits, the Maccies deal is only available in the US at participating restaurants, drive-thrus and delivery spots.
The promotion begins this weekend, on October 3rd, and the figurines will only be available whilst supplies last.
The fun doesn’t stop there, either, as McDonald’s app users will also be entered into a prize draw if they purchase a Happy Meal via the app.
Winners will be awarded Cactus Plant Flea Market and McDonald’s collaboration clothing, like t-shirts and a Grimace chair.
Even if you don’t win, you’ll be able to buy the merch separately by visiting this website.
If we were in the States we’d be collecting these pronto (if only as an excuse to eat more Maccies!)
