McDonald’s adds two items to its Christmas menu

Are we all over the excitement of Halloween now?

Yup, it’s only been two days, but it’s time to put spooky szn behind us, because McDonald’s has just announced two festive drinks will be joining its McCafé range.

Time for the Christmas fun to begin, folks!

Dropping tomorrow (3rd November), the Caramel Waffle Latte and the Hot Chocolate Deluxe will both be available for customers to order as part of the McDonald’s Christmas hot drinks selection.

In case, for some reason, the hot chocolate needs an explainer, Maccies describe it as a ‘silky treat made with rich chocolate syrup’ which is served with a swirl of whipped cream and a dusting of chocolate. 

Meanwhile, the Caramel Waffle Latte, is a ‘smooth latte, blended with a caramel waffle flavour syrup,’ topped with caramel cream and a dusting of caramel sugar. 

The Caramel Waffle Latte will set you back £2.09, whilst the Hot Chocolate Deluxe is priced at £1.49.

And just to get you feeling Christmassy, both drinks are served in festive cups with candy canes, Christmas trees and snowmen on.

The Caramel Waffle Latte replaces last year’s Choco Fudge Latte, which was a hit with fans.

But we have faith the new addition will be equally exciting for Maccies customers.

As for full McDonald’s Christmas menu? We’re still waiting patiently for news of the festive food on offer…

Last year, it included the likes of a festive crispy chicken burger with cranberry sauce and a sage and onion mayo, and a festive stack, made with two beef patties, a red onion relish, white cheese sauce, bacon and crispy onions.

Sweet treats included the likes of a Celebrations McFlurry and a festive pie.
