Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Garlic bread fans – start your engines because you’re going to want to race to this restaurant in Manchester.

There is very little in life that comes close to the utter joy that garlic bread is able to create, and it could be argued that it is the ultimate side dish.

What’s so beautiful about the garlicky goodness is its versatility. Do you want a baguette? No problem. Flatbread? Absolutely.

At some point in history, an absolute genius decided to melt cheese on top of their garlic bread, and we believe they should have a statue in their honour.

But what if we told you that garlic bread doesn’t have to be a side? What if there was a place that celebrated it as the centre of attention that it deserves to be?

The restaurant comes from the team behind Ciaooo, a popular Manchester pizzeria, and their new unit is based in Shudehill.

Operating under the name Ciaooo Loaded Garlic Bread, the is open from 12pm to 6pm daily, with the intention of satisfying hunger during the lunch hours.

You know that you’ll be in safe hands because the team is famed for offering their sourdough crusts and buratta-topped pizzas.

For those who want to play it safe, the establishment offers a plain garlic bread option, and obviously, cheese-topped garlic bread is on the menu.

For anybody wanting to push the boat out a little more, Ciaooo offers loaded garlic bread and you can pack it with truffle, pesto and marinara, amongst other things.

Burrata is also on the menu and the cheese toppings include parmesan and mozzarella.

You can expect the most expensive item on the menu to reach £6.50, with the standard garlic bread pricing between £5 and £5.50.

Small 10-inch pizzas are also on offer and they come with a wide variety of toppings ranging all the way from marinara to parma ham and chorizo.

If you still have room for more, Ciaooo has a deep-fried lasagne on the menu and all of this can be washed down with a variety of drinks – including an Oreo milkshake.

Is your mouth watering yet?
