Nutella ice cream pots are officially landing in UK supermarkets, and we have a feeling people are gonna be *very* excited about it.

Yup, you better cling on to summer for a bit longer, because Ferrero is finally answering prayers from UK customers and bringing an ice cream version of the hazelnut spread over here.

The Nutella ice cream has "layers of Nutella on top and throughout," which sounds pretty epic.

Having landed in Spain, Italy and Portugal earlier this year, you can now get the tubs in Morrisons, with a wider rollout in further supermarkets expected in the following months, and into 2025.

Ferrero has been moving into the ice cream space for a while, launching frozen versions of their Ferrero Rocher and Raffaelo brands back in 2023.

"We are thrilled to be adding to our range of ice creams with such a huge fan favourite," said Ferrero UK & Ireland marketing director Dani Hayward-Bradley, of the launch.

"Our dedicated team of experts has spent years perfecting the recipe, inspired by our much-loved brand, Nutella… and we’re happy that now we can give them a new and exciting way to experience the brand."

This isn't the first time Ferrero has launched a spin on Nutella – although it's rare – as they've already launched the likes of Nutella Biscuits in previous years.

The tubs cost £5.50 a pop, and we have a feeling they're gonna fly off shelves, so get down to your local Morrisons, stat.

After the launch of the ice cream was announced, the reaction spoke for itself.

Writing in reply to food blog, @NewFoodsUK, someone wrote: "Oh my gosh."

While, referring to Morrison's ice cream freezer, another wrote: "If I go missing… this is where I’ll be."

"I'm trying that for sure!!" someone else chimed in.

As a fourth chipped in: "Oh my goodness! I wish I hadn't seen this, I'll get addicted to it."
