Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

It might seem too early for tubs of Quality Street to be hitting supermarket shelves, but the fact is, it’s going to be Christmas before we know it.

In anticipation of the Christmas countdown, Nestlé has already announced that Quality Street will come with eco-friendly wrappers this year, instead of plastic.

Now, they’re back with another announcement.

The chocolate retailer will be bringing a discontinued chocolate back to its Quality Street boxes. Yup, prepare to feel nostalgic AF.

Returning to your Quality Street box this Christmas is the Honeycomb Crunch, which was axed back in 2018.

In case you need a reminder, the Honeycomb Crunch is made up of a smooth honeycomb-flavoured truffle with crunchy honeycomb pieces and a milk chocolate coating.

It’s been four long years since we’ve had the chocolate in our selection boxes, but now Nestlé is answering people’s prayers and bringing it back – well, at least sort of.

We should warn you, the chocolate is only being reinstated in select John Lewis stores across the country.

It’ll be available as part of eight John Lewis Quality Street pick ‘n’ mix stations nationwide – a fun in-store concept which allows customers to customise their own boxes with sweets of their choice.

Customers are given 12 different Quality Street options to choose from, and are able to fill a 1.2kg tub for £14.

So, if you’re a Honeycomb Crunch lover, you know where to get your Quality Street box this year.

Hell, you can have a whole box of ’em if you want to…

Whilst there’s excitement about the return of Honeycomb Crunch, there are others who are disappointed their favourite discontinued Quality Street chocolate isn’t returning instead.

As they announced the Honeycomb Crunch comeback on Facebook, the comments were flooded with requests to bring back the Coffee Creme chocolate instead.

“Never mind the new one, can I have the coffee one back please?,” wrote one.

Whilst another simply penned: “Bring back Coffee Crèmes please and thank you”.

“Every year I type the same thing. Bring back the COFFEE FONDANT!,” said somebody else.

The Coffee Creme was voted the number one chocolate that Quality Street fans would want to see return last year, but it’s yet to get a revival.

Nestlé has even revealed that it gets more enquiries about the chocolate than any other.

Maybe next year, eh?
