Subway launches a Creme Egg sandwich and OMG

Do you love Creme Eggs? Like, really love Creme Eggs?

Well, boy do we have news for you. Subway has just dropped a sandwich stuffed full of the fondant filled chocolates, as part of a limited Easter release.

The Creme Egg Melt is basically a 6 inch toasted sandwich jam packed with Creme Eggs, which are oozy and melted under the grill.

It’s made with Italian White Bread, and is described as “golden toasted on the outside and deliciously gooey on the inside”.

Errr, hello. You’ve got our attention, Subway.

If you want to get your hands on the chocolatey sandwich it’ll take dedication, as it’s only available for one day at select locations.

The Creme Egg Melt is available on Good Friday (Friday, April 7th) only, and it’ll be free for any lucky sods who manage to bag one.

The catch is that there are only a very select number, and they’re only being sold from four stores up and down the country.

London, Liverpool, Swansea and Glasgow are the lucky areas, and each restaurant will only make 500, so it really is first come first served.

Rusty Warren, senior NPD and product innovation manager, at Subway, said: “We’re delighted to have collaborated with Cadbury this Easter. Our Italian White Bread and Cadbury Creme Eggs make the most flavoursome combination – a perfect seasonal treat!

“All the team at Subway are especially excited to see how those Subway fans with a sweet tooth respond to this delicious SubMelt.”
