Popeyes launches mega cup sized dips for dunking chicken

Popeyes has just changed the game for customers in the UK.

The fast food retailer has launched three cup sized mega dips, and they've just rolled out nationwide.

The range will feature two larger versions of the brand's famous ranch, kickback and festive warm cheese dips.

Mega dips (£3.99) will promise a whole cup of sauciness (for the real fiends out there), whilst big dips (£1.99) will be 160ml pots, for a little extra dippin’ energy.

The New Orleans based chain first trialled the dips in select locations, but after they went down a storm they've since launched everywhere.

The dips are perfect for dunkin' fried chicken, fries, or even biscuits.

The ranch dip adds a classic tangy and creamy twist. The kickback brings smoky, tangy pickle flavours, and the cheese dip promises a rich and velvety warm cheddar sauce.

After launching in select locations last month, the dips pretty rapidly sold 115,000 portions of its mega and big dips.

“Booked annual leave to take a trip to Popeyes”, said one person on TikTok, as news of the drop surfaced.

“I WANT… no I NEED”, exclaimed another.

"I feel I’d drink it by accident”, shared someone else.

And that’s not all, as Popeyes® is also welcoming inDue to the success seen from fans, Popeyes UK has decided to roll these new menu items out nationwide, to all 100 stores, so everyone can get a dip of the action.

"Whether it be our fan-favourite Ranch or the specially-festive warm Cheese sauce, and our Cajun-inspired smoky signature Kickback sauce, these oversized dips are the perfect pairing for our famous Shatter Crunchin’ chicken, and are here to bring full, maximum flavour to the menu."
