Got a secret Santa you wanna wind up? Or maybe they just really like sprouts?

Either way, you can now get them brussels sprout cereal – a quirky treat or a nightmare depending who you buy it for.

We don't need to tell you how divisive sprouts are, but cereal company, Surreal, are capitalising on that, bringing out a breakfast product that tastes like the Christmas staple.

Wherever you might stand in the Great Sprout Debate, it's safe to say this will be a fun stocking filler.

And if you do like sprouts, apparently it doesn't taste bad, either!

The cereal comes in green hoops – naturally – and has a flavour which is supposed to be similar to “honey-roasted sprouts”.

Thankfully, the honey is the dominant flavour here, but get ready for a sprouty after taste (you might even be able to smell 'em, too!)

Surreal's co-founder, Kit Gammell said of the launch: “Christmas is a time of peace, joy and indulgence.

"Luckily for those feeling they need a break from the endless pigs-in-blankets and cream-on-everything, our Cereal Scientists have been back in the lab experimenting.

"What they’ve come up with is decidedly divisive. Introducing our new, limited edition Surreal Brussels Sprout Cereal.

"Like all our recipes, it’s high in protein and contains zero sugar – in fact it has less sugar than actual, IRL sprouts.

"So, if you can’t wait till Christmas Dinner to enjoy your favourite festival flavours, then you can start your day with them instead.”

The cereal comes in a gift pack, with a spoon to eat it with, too.

It'll set you back £9.99, which is a bit steep for cereal, sure, but to piss off your sprout hating pal? Priceless.
