Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

As the undisputed American student snack of choice, Totino’s frozen pizzas have helped with everything from crippling hangovers, to cramming for a forgotten exam. No one who’s spent time at university could possibly argue that having easy access to a range of frozen pizza-like products isn’t absolutely essential. Now, having that access is easier than ever.

As if in a competition to create the physical embodiment of the phrase “so wrong it’s right,” everyone’s favourite terrible food brand has come up with the ultimate answer to the question of how to keep beige snacking varied. As an alternative to their ordinary array of pizza rolls and snack bites, the company is also offering a pair of “snack mixes” that include a wide range of all-American flavours.

The two packs each offer four different types of snack, and are divided into “Original” and “American Favorite” flavours. The “Original” offers Pepperoni Pizza Roll Snacks, Cheesy Marinara Bites, Mozzarella Sticks, and Garlic Bread Bites, while the “American Favorite” features Cheeseburger Pizza Roll Snacks, Ham & Cheese Bites, Cheddar Bites, and Potato Bites. It’s certainly one way to enjoy a “balanced” diet.

Even though the prospect of even more Totinos is obviously exciting, getting your hands on them is a little more complicated than you’d expect. Currently, it seems that the “American Favorites” are available only through Instacart, while the “Originals” appear on Sam’s Club. This means that getting your hands on them is more complicated than running down to the store.

However, even though they currently require much more forethought than ordinary Totino’s offerings, there is a reason to be positive. Food & Wine reports that bags will actually be hitting stores around the country “beginning fall 2019”, suggesting that fans won’t have long to wait. If the rumours are true, Autumn looks like being a boon for snacking.
