We love to argue about the perfect Full English here in the UK... it's one of our greatest passion points.

There are differing opinions on whether hash browns belong on there, if people would touch Black Pudding and how they take their eggs.

But Gordon Ramsay seems to have united the internet on one Full English debate – namely whether his London restaurant chain, Bread Street Kitchen, deserves its hefty price tag.

Coming in at a pricy £19, the fry up is made up of one hash brown, a small dish of baked beans, two poached eggs, a mushroom, a tomato, a sausage and two rashers of bacon.

It's certainly a conservative fry up compared to many we've scranned, especially given it's almost 20 quid.

And the internet is pretty unanimously up in arms about it...

"Where’s the other half of the breakfast?," said someone when they saw the person on Twitter.

"I could do better than that. £19 is daylight robbery," someone else chimed in.

"Bloody hell - you could do a weeks shop at Aldi for that and feel fuller!" a third wrote.

As a fourth concurred: "What a waste of money. I’m sorry but you’re an idiot if you pay anything close to that for that meal."

"Ironically it looks like a plate in a restaurant where Ramsay would come in and save the business. @GordonRamsay," noted a fifth.

Eeesh. Sorry Gordon.

This isn't the first time Gordon's fry ups have hit the spotlight, after a similar £19 breakfast at Savoy Grill was hit with social media complaints in 2020.

The chef shared a video of “the most amazing Full English," but... not everyone agreed.

“Where’s the rest of it” said one person in reply.

Meanwhile another noted: "Gordon, matey. It's not an English Breakfast unless you're getting chest pains just by looking at the thing."

Looks like the Hell's Kitchen star's refined palate isn't what everyone's after when it comes to brekky.
