Pasta portions at Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding branded ‘the saddest thing ever’

You probably spotted the pictures from Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding over the weekend. Let’s just say, we saw most of them against our own will…

But there was one picture from the weekend that we had to stop and double take. We are, of course, talking about the food. 

Held in Portofino, Italy, the wedding was actually the pair’s third celebration (totally normal, right?!), and they treated their guests to an elaborate Dolce and Gabbana themed banquet in a castle. 

There was fresh food aplenty, with stations where guests could sample various Italian dishes. However, many people weren’t too impressed with the size of the plates of pasta on offer…

Kendall’s sister, Kylie Jenner, shared a video of the dishes being served on her Instagram story, revealing that the pasta was being cooked fresh by a chef directly in front of the guests.

And let’s just say the portions of spaghetti definitely raised some eyebrows. They’re certainly tasting sizes, that’s for sure… 

“The pasta portion size at Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding is the one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen,” said one person, sharing a picture of Kylie’s story.

Whilst another wrote: “That’t not even a portion, that’s a bite”. 

“Why do rich people eat like this,” commented a third. 

As a fourth joked: “Just put it in my hand, don’t mock me with a plate…”

Of course, we’re sure the small pasta portion was one of many, many courses, and we’re well aware that small servings of pasta are commonly served as Primi courses over in Italy. 

But we have to admit if we were at an Itaian wedding with a fresh pasta station, we’d be angling for a little more than four strands of spaghetti. 

Also on offer at this year’s biggest celebrity wedding were cannolis, filled with fresh cream right in front of guests.

Plus, a table of Italian desserts could be seen in a TikTok of the occasion, shared by Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West.

Kourtney and Travis married first in Las Vegas back in April, followed by a legal ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. This Italian affair is their third and (probably?) final hurrah. 

So, let’s hope they let the guest go up for seconds, ey?
