Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

There’s no denying the UK has reached some pretty blistering temperatures in recent weeks, and when the sun’s beaming down, sometimes the only cure is an ice cream or a freezing cold bev.

Well, what if we told you that you could combine both? Trust us, you’re not gonna want to miss out on this one…

People are now making Magnum Espresso Martinis, and the best part is they actually look pretty easy to knock together at home.

The tipple started gaining attention online after it was posted by TikTok account, @thisisplanetfood, and it’s not hard to see why it was a hit.

We mean, look at it.

It’s made by chopping up a magnum (in a flavour of your choice) and then blending it with Kahlua (which is coffee liqueur), vanilla vodka and espresso.

When smooth, you literally pour the ice cold drink into a glass and garnish it with some coffee beans, cocoa powder or even another Magnum – and voila! That’s literally it.

Told you it was simple, didn’t we?

You can get all the measurements you need over on @thisisplanetfood’s page, where they’ve shared the full recipe, and they even have their own cookbook if you want to look for more similar recipes.

“You’re telling me that my martinis could have had ice cream in them this whole time???,” wrote one person as they came across the video online.

Whilst another tagged a friend and wrote: “Your dream”.

A third said that the recipe took espresso martinis to a “whole new level”.

We’d have to agree.

The best thing about this ice cream cocktail is that you absolutely don’t have to stop at Magnums. Throw your favourite ice cream in there and it’ll probably work just as well.

We’re tempted to try it with a Feast…
