MasterChef Spain is the talk of the internet RN, after a clip has resurfaced showing how one contestant was immediately kicked off because of what she served the judges.

Contestant Saray Carrillo, 27, was reportedly so grossed out when she was asked to pluck and cook a partridge back in 2020 that she decided to protest – and it cost her dearly.

You can watch the clip below:

Apparently, the contestant had already spoken about how much she was scared of prepping and cooking birds, so she felt the challenge was orchestrated to set her up.

So, turning up at the judging table, Saray made a very blunt point, plonking the dead bird – totally unprepared – in front of Jordi Cruz, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez, with a smirk.

As if presenting a whole bird wasn't enough, she decorated the plate with cherry tomatoes, which were dotted down the bird's back, and put it all on a bed of spring onions.

It's probably no surprise that the rest of the contestants were shook, with one judge exclaiming: “This is never seen in MasterChef.”

Judge Jordi added that serving the dish was an insult to the 28,000 contestants that had auditioned for the show.

It didn't seem like the Saray was at all bothered when she was shown the door, though. When judges said that the fact she got on as a contest was a ‘mistake’, she simply swayed from side to side and took the criticism proudly.

Shrugging and saying ‘bye, bye’ when they were done, she put down her apron and waltzed out of the studio.

Whether you agree with Saray's protest or not, there's no denying she's going down in TV history – hell, there's a reason we're still talking about it!
