McDonald's recently brought out a new menu featuring a limited edition burger collab, and fans are pleading for it to stay on menus.

The burger is being branded the 'best yet' by fans, with others branding it a "masterpiece" and saying it was a must on menus for spice lovers.

'What is it?' We hear you ask. The Frank's RedHot collab, of course.

The burger launched in McDonald's UK and Ireland branches on October 7th, dubbing it their "spiciest ever" menu item.

And it's safe to say people wanted it to stay.

One wrote: "@McDonaldsUK Mcspicy x Frank's Redhot is a masterpiece. Never take it away."

While another said: "@McDonaldsIRL Really loved the new McSpicy with Frank's redhot sauce. While I know it's a promotion, recommend keeping it on the menu for spice lovers."

"@McDonaldsUK franks hot sauce McSpicy tho... best yet," a third chimed in.

As a fourth wrote: "McSpicy x Franks Red Hot is the best thing McDonalds has ever done."

The burger is like a classic Maccies chicken burger, with a chicken breast patty in a crispy coating, jalapeños, lettuce, Emmental cheese and onions in a sesame seed bun, except there will be the addition of Frank's RedHot Mayo.

Thomas O’Neil, Head of Menu at McDonald’s UK and Ireland, said: “We know how much our customers love spice, and were blown away by the reaction to the McSpicy since it first launched as a limited-edition back in July 2021, growing to a permanent resident on our main menu.

“This collaboration with Frank’s RedHot gave us such an exciting opportunity to build on an already iconic product and create something genuinely spicy but also delicious that we know both McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot customers will love. We’re really looking forward to seeing the reaction."

If you want to order the burger on its own, it'll cost £5.59, and it comes as part of a meal for £7.29.

The spicy new burger is currently available in stores, at Drive-Thrus, via the McDonald’s App and via McDelivery at the moment, but it's limited edition, so it will only be around until mid March.

So far, McDonald's hasn't responded to please for the burger to stay, but we'll update you if they do!
